Pope John Paul II Catholic School is pleased to welcome Mrs. Deborah Coffey to our administrative team. Mrs. Coffey will be spending the year working with Mrs. Benton and is serving as a Co-Principal.

Deborah is currently part of the Loyola Universityís Catholic Principal Cohort and the Big Shoulders Fund Leadership Development Program, earning her Masters in Instructional Leadership. She received her bachelorís degree and teaching certificate from Eastern Illinois University. She comes to PJPII after teaching junior high at Epiphany Catholic School. Deborah has previously taught at the high school level and worked in the private sector.

Mrs. Benton and Mrs. Coffey will be working together to serve the Pope John Paul II School community!

About Pope John Paul II Catholic School

We are currently the only Catholic School serving the Brighton Park and surrounding communities. PJPII prides itself on a nurturing environment where students are challenged to grow and develop as Catholics, learners, and individuals. We offer programs for children as young as 3 and 4 in our preschool classes until 8th grade. Our staff is comprised of experienced teachers who provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all of our learners. Our students leave Pope John Paul II Catholic School to go on to key area high schools and become successful members of society!
